Colin Marrs, editor of Construction News, commented:
“The story of the past year has been one of continued uncertainty for construction firms, with inflation providing huge challenges to projects, particularly those being undertaken on fixed-price contract. However, the 2023 CN Awards winners prove the ongoing resilience of an industry that gets things done, even on the lowest of margins. The range of innovation and construction excellence on display is truly breathtaking.
“Once again, our judging process was thorough and rigorous, with shortlisted entries asked to present in front of peers from the top of our industry. With a plethora of high-quality entries, credit is due to all those who were shortlisted, not just the winners and shortlisted entrants. The awards prove that construction remains the most exciting and inspiring industry to work in.”
