Project Description
AR Demolition Ltd were instructed to carry out works including the removal of all existing concrete hard-standing areas. The complete soft strip for all the structures was required to leave only the skeleton frame.

Working around live services. Short timescale to deliver project and confined area of working space.
Key H,S&E Risks
Key Work Activities: Soft strip, removal of all internal buildings, removal of all external walls & cladding. Removal of box profile roof, grub up the loading bay and tarmac road. To leave all live services in place and protect from weather, to leave concrete structure/frame work in place. Finally finishing with removal of wind bracing and vertical supports.
Equipment Used
Scissor lifts, Bobcat, Tower scaffolds, 360 Excavator on shear, bucket and hammer, Gas operated tile lifter, Cherry pickers & various hand tools.
Works were conducted within close proximity to local community facilities and businesses.Traffic management was required and measures put in place to deal with the project without any delays occurring.
